Methyl 2-methyl-6-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)isonicotinate is a natural compound that inhibits the activity of inhibitor molecules. It binds to dna template and inhibits the production of RNA and protein synthesis in cells. Methyl 2-methyl-6-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)isonicotinate has been shown to have high resistance against locomotor activity in mice infected with influenza A virus and to have acute toxicities in rats.
