Beschreibung

(R)-2-(2-((tert-Butoxycarbonyl)amino)-2-methylpropanamido)-3-(1H-indol-3-yl)propanoic Acid is a tripeptide secretagogue. It has been shown to stimulate the release of growth hormone in humans and animals, and to increase the synthesis of peptides in cultured cells. The compound has been shown to be active at low nanomolar concentrations in stimulating the release of growth hormone, tripeptides, and dipeptides from rat pituitary cells. (R)-2-(2-((tert-Butoxycarbonyl)amino)-2-methylpropanamido)-3-(1H-indol-3-yl)propanoic Acid also binds to the growth hormone receptor and activates it.
