• Beschreibung: Camp-am is a progestin contraceptive medication that prevents pregnancy by interfering with the ovulation process. It has been demonstrated to have a damaging effect on the genus Campylobacter, which can cause gastrointestinal illness. This drug is also known to modulate blood glucose levels and tumorigenicity in mice. Camp-am has been shown to activate horse melanocytes and increase hyperactivity in rats. Camp-am also induces glioma in mice, although it does not have any harmful effects on other cells in vitro. Camp-am has been shown to be activated by reperfusion following treatment with hydrogen peroxide or lipid peroxidation inhibitors, but not by a variety of other agents such as light, heat, or oxygen radicals.
