Beschreibung:Isofurazadrol is a β-glucuronidase substrate and an inhibitor of sulfation. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of β-glucuronidase and sulfation in rats, leading to a reduction in the urinary excretion of glucuronic acid and sulfate. The metabolism study showed that isofurazadrol was metabolized by conjugation with glucuronic acid, sulfate, or methylation. Isofurazadrol also inhibited serum enzymes such as glutathione reductase, cytochrome p450, and myeloperoxidase in mice. Isofurazadrol is quantified using HPLC with UV detection at 220 nm.
