Produktinformation
Lansoprazole-d4 is a sulfonylurea compound that has been used to inhibit the activity of proton pumps in the stomach. It is used in the treatment of acid-related disorders, such as dyspepsia and gastroesophageal reflux disease. Lansoprazole-d4 has shown toxic effects on blood cells, which may be due to inhibition of k-ATPase function. This drug also inhibits the activity of sulfoxide reductase, which leads to an accumulation of this toxic metabolite. Lansoprazole-d4 has been found to have antagonistic properties against epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and is being investigated for its potential use in cancer therapy. This drug has shown no adverse effects on hematocrit levels or proton production in acidic environments. Due to its anticholinergic properties, lansoprazole-d4 should not be taken with other drugs that inhibit gastric acid
