2-Amino-2-methylpropane hydrochloride (AMP) is a chemical compound that is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals. It belongs to the class of amines and has been shown to inhibit the activity of enzymes involved in the synthesis of proteins, such as protein kinase A.
