Beschreibung:
1-Methylpyrrolidine-2-thione is an additive that is used in the synthesis of propanediols. It can reversibly oxidize sulfoxides and has been used to generate stereoisomeric products in the presence of a perovskite or metal halide. 1-Methylpyrrolidine-2-thione has also been used as a crystallization medium for organic compounds, such as acetonitrile and dimethylformamide. The use of this reagent has also been proposed for the production of inexpensive solar cells.
