Beschreibung

Methyl Adipoyl Chloride is a monoclonal antibody that binds to fatty acids with an acyl chain. It has been found to be clinically useful in the treatment of patients with Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis. Methyl Adipoyl Chloride is a reactive gas sensor that can detect the presence of hydrocarbons. The hydroxyl group on the methyl adipoyl chloride molecule will react with aldehyde groups in fatty acid chains to form ester bonds, which are more stable than free fatty acid chains. This stabilizes the ester bond and prevents it from undergoing further reactions.
Methyl Adipoyl Chloride also contains a chloride ion, which is necessary for its function as a monoclonal antibody.
