Beschreibung:
4-Chlorophenyltrimethoxysilane (4CTMS) is a biaryl compound that can be used as an organic modifier for epoxy resins. 4CTMS has been shown to modify the morphology of the resin, by segregating and modifying the surface area of the polymer. It also has been shown to increase the rate of crosslinking and to reduce shrinkage in epoxy resins. 4CTMS is also effective as a thermoplastic material with high cyclic resistance, as well as being a good interlayer material in multilayer composites.
