Beschreibung

Myomodulin is a protein that is found in the carboxy terminal end of a fatty acid, which has been shown to be effective at treating infectious diseases such as Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. Myomodulin has also been shown to have ganglia protective effects and can increase levels of cAMP in cells. It is also used as a pharmaceutical drug for inflammatory diseases. Myomodulin is also used in diagnostic agents for inflammatory diseases.
Myomodulin is an amino acid that regulates the body's immune system by inhibiting inflammation. It works by blocking the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) in macrophages, which are cells that produce pro-inflammatory cytokines and histamine. This prevents the production of PGE2 from arachidonic acid, which causes inflammation and pain.
