Produktinformation
Dasatinib N-oxide is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of specific tyrosine kinases. It is used as an anti-cancer agent, inhibiting cancer cell proliferation and inducing apoptosis by interacting with proteins in the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) pathway. Dasatinib N-oxide has been shown to have synergistic effects when combined with other drugs, such as vincristine, doxorubicin, and temozolomide. Dasatinib N-oxide has also been shown to be effective against cancers of the breast, lung, stomach, prostate, and ovary. The PI3K pathway is vital for cell survival and proliferation which makes it an attractive target for drug development. This drug targets this pathway by inhibiting protein-tyrosine kinases that are involved in signalling pathways important for cancer cell growth and survival.
