Beschreibung

1-(3,6-Dibromo-9H-carbazol-9-yl)-3-(piperazin-1-yl)propan-2-ol is a fluorescent compound that absorbs radiation energy and emits light. It is used in diagnostic tests to detect the presence of bacteria, such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The light signal emitted by 1-(3,6-Dibromo-9H-carbazol-9-yl)-3-(piperazin-1-yl)propan-2-ol is proportional to the number of bacteria present and can be detected with a spectrometer or collimator. This analog can also be used as a marker for monolayers and plates in electron microscopy experiments.
