Beschreibung:RX-104 hydrochloride is a novel, potent, and orally bioavailable anticancer agent that inhibits the synthesis of DNA by exerting its cytotoxic effect on tumor cells. The potential for RX-104 hydrochloride to induce myeloid-derived suppressor cells has been investigated in preclinical models. RX-104 hydrochloride has also demonstrated an ability to activate markers associated with tumor progression in cancer patients. This drug is activated by the enzymes cytochrome P450 3A4 and CYP2C8/9. It also activates markers of resistance to docetaxel, which may be due to the inhibition of myeloid-derived suppressor cells.
