• Beschreibung: Luminol, for Western Blot and ELISA Horseradish peroxidase (HRP), a common marker enzyme for antibodies, catalyses the chemiluminescent oxidation of luminol in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. This transformation is used in ultra-sensitive immunoassays in Western Blot and ELISA. Luminescence can be detected at very low levels using sensitive scintillation counters. Cymit Quimica’s manufacturing process for luminol (L-8600) ensures that the highest purity and lot-to-lot consistency are achieved, making it the product of choice for manufacturers of high-end immunological assays. Performance above-average has also been reported for the application of the product in Western blot procedures. Luminol is also routinely used for the detection of bloodstains in criminal investigation.
