Beschreibung

Metipranolol hydrochloride is a medication that is used to treat high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, and glaucoma. It is used in the eye as an ophthalmic solution to reduce intraocular pressure. The drug is also used in combination with other medications to prevent platelet aggregation and prolong the clotting time of blood. Metipranolol hydrochloride has been shown to inhibit signal detection by ganglion cells and reduces the rate of platelet activation. The drug is not active against bacteria or fungi.
