Beschreibung

Polyethylene glycol 12-hydroxystearate is a nonionic surfactant that is used in pharmaceutical dosage forms. It can be used as a multidrug for cancer treatment, which makes it an effective treatment for drug-resistant strains of tumors. This product also has the ability to form nanoemulsions and is water-soluble. Polyethylene glycol 12-hydroxystearate has shown to increase the uptake of drugs by tumor cells and decrease the toxicity of chemotherapeutic agents during emetogenic chemotherapy. The terminal half-life for this product is 10 hours.
