Beschreibung:PH-002 is a fatty acid that belongs to the group of polyunsaturated fatty acids. It has been shown to exhibit neuroprotective effects in vitro, and may be useful for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease. PH-002 has also been shown to inhibit the growth of trichomonas vaginalis and soil bacteria, including Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus. These antimicrobial activities are likely due to its ability to reduce the oxidation of other molecules by an alkoxy radical.
