Dopexamine is an inhibitor of the enzyme adenosine deaminase (ADA), which converts adenosine to inosine. Dopexamine has been shown to be an activator of the beta-3 adrenergic receptor, as well as a ligand for the alpha-2A adrenergic receptor. It has also been used as a research tool to study protein interactions and ion channels. Dopexamine is available in high purity and can be used in life science research or antibody production.
