It also inhibits the growth of subcutaneous tumors in mice by blocking the mitogenic effects of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and other receptor activities. RG 13022 has demonstrated cytotoxicity against cancer cells lines derived from human carcinoma, including squamous carcinoma.br>; RG 13022 is orally bioavailable and has shown no significant toxicity or side effects in animal studies.
