Beschreibung:
4,4-Difluoro-1-methylpiperidine is a distal virucidal agent with a broad spectrum of activity. It is active against both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses and has been shown to be effective in vitro against the following viruses: HIV, HCV, HBV, HSV, RSV, Coxsackie virus B3 (CVB3), and Influenza A2/A2. 4,4-Difluoro-1-methylpiperidine has also been studied in animal models of infection with human serum albumin (HSA) as the target protein. The amide form of 4,4-difluoro-1-methylpiperidine binds to HSA with high affinity and has low toxicity for mice and rats. The pharmacokinetic profile of 4,4-difluoro-1 methylpiperidine is similar to that of other amines.
