Beschreibung:Thermorubin is a natural compound that inhibits protein synthesis and RNA synthesis. Thermorubin is a methyltransferase inhibitor, which prevents the conversion of s-adenosylhomocysteine to adenosine triphosphate, leading to cell death by inhibiting protein synthesis and RNA synthesis. Thermorubin has been shown to be effective against viruses such as influenza A and mouse melanoma cells.
