Beschreibung

Thevetin A is an extract from the cascabela tree that contains hydroxy groups. This extract has been shown to have a potent effect in clinical studies as a control agent for congestive heart failure. Thevetin A has also been shown to be effective in treating trigeminal neuralgia and cardiac effects. It is believed that it may be due to its ability to increase the release of norepinephrine and serotonin, which are neurotransmitters that affect pain perception and mood.
