Beschreibung

Cimicifugoside is a constituent of the plant Angelica Dahurica and Cimicifuga Foetida. It has been shown to have acetylcholinesterase-inhibiting activity. Cimicifugoside is also effective in reducing locomotor activity in mice, as well as inhibiting the growth of leukemia cells. A concentration-time curve for cimicifugoside has been established using an electrochemical detector, which demonstrates that cimicifugoside has a long half-life in plasma and can be detected with an analytical method based on LC-MS/MS. The synergistic effects of cimicifugoside on other therapeutics are being investigated by in vitro assays and pharmacokinetic properties.
