Beschreibung

2,3:4,6-Di-O-isopropylidene-2-keto-L-gulonic acid sodium salt is a fatty acid that has been used as an antipsychotic drug. It is the active metabolite of clozapine and has been shown to have similar efficacy to other first generation antipsychotics such as chlorpromazine and haloperidol. 2,3:4,6-Di-O-isopropylidene-2-keto-L-gulonic acid sodium salt also has a low energy content and can be audited for its locomotor activity.
