Dapagliflozin also has a low bioavailability in vivo, which can be improved by administration with food. This drug has been shown to have a longer elimination half-life than canagliflozin and empagliflozin. Dapagliflozin has been shown to have a higher potency than metformin hydrochloride in vitro.
