The 4-Toluoyl-a-D-thiomannopyranoside is a six-membered ring with a hydrogen atom at the center. The structure of this molecule is composed of two chains, each of which has four atoms in their backbone. In the boat conformation, these three bonds form an angle of 120 degrees with each other and have staggered geometry. The alpha bonds in this case form an angle of 180 degrees with each other.
