It is a mixture of two isomers: (2S,3R)-2-(4-methoxybenzoyl) 3-hydroxy-1,6-diphenylhexane and (2S,3S)-2-(4-methoxybenzoyl) 3-hydroxy-1,6-diphenylhexane. Ondansetron 6-D-glucuronide is used as an antiemetic in the prevention of nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
