Beschreibung

Resveratrol is a polyphenol that has been shown to have many pharmacological effects, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticancer activities. It is found in red wine and other foods. Resveratrol is mainly metabolized by the liver through glucuronidation or sulfation. The 3-O-b-D-glucuronide of resveratrol is a major metabolite in humans. This metabolite has high bioavailability, low toxicity, and a different receptor profile than trans-resveratrol in vitro assays.
