It is a dietary supplement that has been shown to inhibit the activity of matrix metalloproteinases, which are enzymes that break down collagen in the skin and lead to wrinkles. Raspberry ketone glucoside also inhibits tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in the production of melanin. As a result, raspberry ketone glucoside has been shown to reduce pigmentation and inhibit UV-induced skin damage.
