Beschreibung

Zinc cyclohexanebutyrate is a phosphorus-based absorber that is used in polyester manufacturing. It has been shown to be an effective absorber of phosphine gas, which is an extremely toxic and flammable substance. Zinc cyclohexanebutyrate also has the ability to filter out ferrocene from solutions. Zinc cyclohexanebutyrate has a pyridine ring that can form supramolecular complexes with other molecules, including silicon and polyester compounds. This chemical is also used as an antibacterial agent in the treatment of wounds and skin ulcers caused by bacterial infections. Zinc cyclohexanebutyrate also has a high viscosity that makes it useful in the production of polyester resins.
