8-(4-Chlorophenylthio)guanosine 3',5'-cyclic monophosphothioate Sp-isomer sodium salt (8-chloro-GTP) is a modified nucleoside that inhibits the synthesis of DNA by preventing the addition of nucleotides to the 3' end of DNA.
