Beschreibung:1-(2-Ethylhexyl) 4-methyl benzene-1,4-dicarboxylate is a silylated, polysulphide sealant with good adhesion to many plastics and metals. It is also used as a plasticizer for acrylates and a sealant for polyurethanes. This product has been shown to be an effective sealant for terephthalate and polyethers. The molecule contains two ester groups that react with the hydroxyl groups on the surface of the substrate to form the crosslinked network.
