Beschreibung

1-Benzyl-N5-cyclopropyl-N3-methyl-2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxamide is a potent and selective inhibitor of the ion channel TRPV4. It binds to the receptor with an IC50 of 0.2 μM. This compound has been shown to inhibit TRPV4 in human embryonic kidney cells (HEK293) and HEK293 cells stably expressing TRPV4. The inhibition of TRPV4 by 1BPNDC has been shown to be concentration dependent. This compound is suitable for research purposes such as pharmacology, protein interactions, receptor binding, peptides activation, ion channels ligand, cell biology and antibody production.
