The assay employs a monoclonal antibody specific for mouse GIP. This antibody captures Mouse GIP from test samples, and a biotinylated polyclonal antibody specific for mouse GIP is then used to measure the captured Mouse GIP by means of a colorimetric reaction. The amount of Mouse GIP in the test sample is inversely proportional to the intensity of the color developed.
