Beschreibung

Eriodictyol-7-neohesperidoside is a coumarin derivative that has been shown to be genotoxic in human serum. It inhibits the binding of coumarin derivatives to DNA, thereby inhibiting DNA synthesis and cell growth. Eriodictyol-7-neohesperidoside also inhibits lipogenesis by blocking the activity of enzymes that are involved in the production of fatty acids and cholesterol. This compound may also be beneficial for treatment of hepatic steatosis, since it is able to inhibit enzymes involved in lipid metabolism.
