Beschreibung

Saikosaponin C is a natural compound that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory activities. It interacts with the cell membrane and inhibits the matrix effect, which leads to reduced inflammatory response. Saikosaponin C has been isolated from the Chinese herb Saiko, and it has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of myeloma cells in vitro. The inhibition may be due to its ability to bind to oligosaccharides on the surface of these cells. Saikosaponin C is also able to form a complex with collagen gel and pentobarbital sodium, which prevents the drug from diffusing away before it can exert its effect. This property makes it an excellent candidate for drug delivery system in human serum.
