Beschreibung

Vitexin-4'-rhamnoside is a type of fatty acid and acetate extract that is used as a coronary heart disease treatment. Vitexin-4'-rhamnoside can be detected in the bloodstream for up to 48 hours after ingestion, but its bioavailability is low at about 2%. It has been shown to have antioxidant properties, which may be due to the presence of 5-caffeoylquinic acid. The effects of vitexin-4'-rhamnoside are typically attributed to the presence of phenolic acids. This drug can be found in Chinese medicine preparations and it has been studied using chromatographic and analytical methods.
