3-Amino-1,5-naphthalenedisulfonic acid disodium salt is a surfactant that is used in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. It is an analog of 3-amino-1,5-naphthalenedisulfonic acid. 3-Amino-1,5-naphthalenedisulfonic acid disodium salt has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of leukotriene synthesis and has been used for the treatment of cardiovascular disorders.
