Produktinformation
- 1-Octanamine, Hydrobromide (1:1)
- Octan-1-amine hydrobromide (1:1)
n-Octylamine Hydrobromide is a surfactant that can be used as a wetting agent, emulsifier, or dispersing agent. It is also used in the production of other chemicals and has a variety of industrial uses. n-Octylamine Hydrobromide is most commonly used as a surfactant in detergents, textile processing, and oil field applications. This chemical can be synthesized by reacting n-octanol with bromine at temperatures below 100°C and at pressures above 1 bar. The resulting product will have an average weight of 290.3 grams per mole. The physical properties of this chemical are dependent on its temperature; it becomes more hydrophobic when heated to higher temperatures and more hydrated when cooled to lower temperatures. n-Octylamine Hydrobromide also has high viscosity and low surface tension due to its cationic nature. It is soluble in water but insoluble in non
