Beschreibung:5'-O-DMT-2'-O-(2-methoxyethyl)-5-methyluridine 3'-CE succinate TEA salt is a novel, modified nucleoside with antiviral activity. It is synthesized from 5'-O-DMT-2'-O-(2-methoxyethyl)-5-methyluridine and the corresponding 2',3',4,4',5,5'-hexachloroacetone adduct. This compound has been shown to be an activator of diphosphate synthesis and ribonucleotide reductase. It is also a potent inhibitor of deoxyribonucleic acid synthesis and tumor cell growth in vitro. The product has been shown to have anticancer properties in vitro and in vivo. The product is not activated by the enzyme phosphodiesterase, which means it does not cause any negative side effects such as hypertension or gastrointestinal disturbance.
