It is an analog of fluorouracil with a 5-fluorescein group at the 5' position. This phosphoramidite is synthesized from 2',3'-dideoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate and fluorescein diphosphate. It can be used to bind to DNA and inhibit viral replication.
