Beschreibung

Yunnanxane is a natural product that has been isolated from the plant cell cultures of the genus Taxus. It inhibits transcription-polymerase chain reaction and also inhibits the growth of cancer cells, including leukemia cells. Yunnanxane has been shown to inhibit the production of mirna and inhibit tumor cell lines in vitro. It also inhibits gel chromatography, which may be due to its hydroxyl group. Yunnanxane also possesses nmr spectra with an active substance that resembles taxol or other drugs used for chemotherapy.
