Beschreibung:LY311727 is a metalloprotease inhibitor that binds to the active site of secretory phospholipase A2 (sPLA2) and inhibits its activity. It has been shown to be effective in vitro against skin cells and monoclonal antibody-induced inflammation. LY311727 has also been shown to inhibit neuronal death in vitro, as well as chronic exposure to polymerases. LY311727 has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the production of inflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), and interleukin-6 (IL-6). This compound also inhibits chemically induced autoimmune diseases in mice models. The binding affinity for LY311727 is dependent on temperature, with higher temperatures resulting in stronger binding.
