Beschreibung:
5-Chlorothiophen-2-yl)methanamine is an inhibitor of stearoyl-coa desaturase (SCD), a key enzyme in the synthesis of fatty acids. It has been shown to inhibit SCD1 in vitro and to decrease serum triglycerides in vivo. 5-Chlorothiophen-2-yl)methanamine has also been shown to decrease cholesterol levels in rats fed a high fat diet, which may be due to its ability to inhibit SCD.
