• Beschreibung: CINC-1/gro is a recombinant protein of the rat CINC-1. It is used as an activator or ligand for the caspase-1/caspase-4 cascade and as a receptor for TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-18. CINC-1 is a member of the NODO family of cytoplasmic proteins that are involved in intracellular signaling pathways. CINC-1 can be activated by different stimuli such as apoptotic cells, dsRNA, or ATP and then binds to various receptors on the cell surface including those for TNFα, IL1β, and IL18. ; CINC-1 has been shown to activate caspases by cleaving Bid into tBid and activating caspase 8. This activation leads to subsequent cleavage of procaspases 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11 which eventually results in apoptosis or programmed cell
