Sequosempervirin B is a chemical compound that is found in the seeds of the plant Sequoia sempervirens. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and to inhibit fatty acid synthesis, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the enzyme complex. This compound also possesses antiviral activity against herpes simplex virus type 1 and 2 as well as hepatitis C virus.
