Beschreibung:
E7820 is a drug that has been designed to inhibit the production of fibroblast-derived basic protein, which is a structural protein found in the extracellular matrix. It has been shown to be effective in treating bone cancer and also against certain types of cancer cells. E7820 inhibits the production of collagen and epidermal growth factor, which are proteins necessary for tumor growth. This drug also has anti-angiogenic properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6 and TNFα. E7820 also suppresses angiogenesis by inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) signaling pathways.
