Beschreibung:Neurofilament Medium Polypeptide Bovine is a freeze-dried preparation of the protein neurofilament medium polypeptide. It is used for the quantitative determination of neurofilaments in spinal cord tissue and for functional studies of neurofilaments in neuronal cells. The protein is purified from bovine spinal cord by fractionation with ammonium sulfate precipitation and desalting on a DEAE-cellulose column, followed by two cycles of freeze-drying. The molecular mass is about 190 kDa. Reconstitute in 0.1 M methylammonium chloride and store at 4°C before use.
