Beschreibung:ProTx-II is a synthetic peptide that activates the TRPV1 receptor, a member of the capsaicin receptor family. ProTx-II has been shown to inhibit NGF-induced neurite outgrowth, and can be used as a research tool in studying the structure and function of TRPV1 receptors. ProTx-II is also an inhibitor of protein interactions with the TNF receptor, and has been shown to selectively inhibit NFκB activation by inhibiting IKK kinase activity.
