Isoquinolin-1-ylmethanamine is an amide that has been shown to be a potent and selective inhibitor of serine protease. Isoquinolin-1-ylmethanamine inhibits serine proteases such as thrombin, factor Xa, and factor VIIa by binding to their active site.
